Learn to Knit Banana Socks - March 21st & 28th

Join Bella from Area 51 Fibres and learn to make these beginner friendly socks. If you can knit and purl in the round you can make socks.

This socks do not have a true heel. The beauty is the full length ribbing along the back. The ribbing stretched to accommodate your heel. 

The pattern is Aly's Banana Socks by Polka Dot Creek.

In this class students will learn how to do the German twisted cast on, the pattern for the sock, toe deceases and how to sew to toe together.

Materials Needed

• 100 grams of DK weight yarn
• Set of 3.25 mm needles for knitting in the round (double pointed, 9 inch circular, etc)
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Classes are on March 21st and 28th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm
