Beginner Knit Sweater Class - Starting Mar 28th

In this class students will learn how to make their first basic sweater. We will be using the pattern 'Step by Step Sweater' by Florence Miller. This is a free pattern on Ravelry. 

This is an aran/heavy worsted weight sweater with a relaxed fit.

The first class will be discussing the pattern and gauge swatches. Please bring a pen and note book along for the first class.

Classes are from 10:30am to 12:30pm on March 28th, April 11th, 18th and 25th. The remaining 3 classes will be scheduled dependent on the classes progress.

Materials Needed:

• 4.5mm circular needles (40cm and 80cm lengths)
• 5.5mm circular needles (40cm and 80 or 100cm lengths) It is possible to use the magic loop technique to avoid the need for 40cm needles.
• Nepal by DROPS (75m/50g)
• For the striped version: 7 (8, 9, 11) (12, 13, 15) skeins ofthe main colour 3 (3, 4, 4) (5, 5, 6) skeins of the contrast colour
• For a solid coloured version: 9 (10, 12, 13) (15, 16, 18) skeins Alternatively you could use the same length of one of the following
• We recommend using the Estelle Worsted with 200m/100 grams
